Forum: Games and Video Games   Topic: Judge recommends ban on XBox 360 from US shelves

If Microsoft did assemble in the US to circumvent the ruling and Motorola did file for an injunction to stop them it would make for some good headlines. First: "Microsoft moves Xbox manufacture to US, generates 2000 jobs." Then: "Motorola wants newly employed to lose jobs making Xbox 360's." I agre...

Hmm strange timing for this as the 360 only has around 2 years left in its current life cycle. Seems like another example of corporal greed to me by Motorola. Even if they won the case and got some sort of compensation it would probably be less that what they have paid in lawyer fees. This corporat...

If you read the judge's recommendation it wouldn't take Xboxes off the shelves, it would prevent them from being imported. If I was Microsoft and the judgement happened I'd simply import parts and assemble them in the US to circumvent the ruling. There are plenty of assembly lines not moving right ...

I don't like Micro$oft products or use them very often, but I believe for a judge to order X-box off the market is totally unfair. However, Microsoft is doing the same thing with some of Motorola's Android phones. This and other such bans prove that the U.S. intellectual property laws are out of dat...

Ok guys...now I'm a little freaked out. I made it a priority not to learn too much about the test in order to ensure that my results would be accurate. All I knew was that I would take module 4, and I knew the names of the activities. Just a loose structure of how the test would be run. I knew it t...

I might go ahead and finish the article. While an Autie or Aspie might still score on the autism spectrum when trying to skew the test, he or she might be able to fool an untrained examiner such as a staffer in a personnel department. This is my primary concern - keeping the test from being used for...

No, it seems like you responded fundamentally like we all did ... but then again, how do we know? I would assume if they asked you back and if you have the diagnosis, then you have it. By the way, I had that same picture book...it was bizarre....and I did the same thing you did - just described it....

I could go on for another ten paragraphs discussing how to score NT on this test, but I see no need for it unless this type of test is used for job evaluations, etc. However, if this becomes a very popular thread, I will discuss further techniques for crashing the test and hacking out an NT score. ...

I took the test for my C.A.R.D. counselor so she could get practice administering it. I remember the test very well, and it took a lot of research for me to decode it. When I took it, I was trying to score neurotypical, but I was scored many points on the autism scale. However, I think I have finall...

So cyberscan, am I right according to this book ? Yes you are. Nice guys finishing last not only applies to dating, but it also applies to everything else in this world. Why do you think that recent studies of corporate C.E.O.'s and other people who rank high in the corporate structure shows that t...

Yes, it is very true. Nice guys do finish last. To get ahead in this world means that you have to stop being a nice guy. I suggest for guys out there who are looking (for women) to read the pickup artist book called, "The Game." I believe, that the OP is right on the money. Even when a nice guy is n...

I'm diagnosed with classic autism. I went to regular public school and had to repeat kindergarten. I had no accommodations with the exception of receiving speech therapy. Needless to say, I hated school. My years at a country school were much better than my years in a city school. I am a successful ...

Wanting to be NT doesn't mean that you hate or dislike who your are. It means that you want things to go easier. I understand that. I love all the abilities that comes with my autistic mind, but sometimes, I desperately want to be NT. An autistic mind can write a book. A NT mind can get others to re...
