Living with other people can be horrible for many reasons, but living alone can be much worse. I just finished living alone for a year, and there were long stretches of time where I wouldn't see another person.

If you do choose to live alone, make sure you don't have yellow wallpaper

I have the same problem. I think that it's because I don't initiate contact as often as most people.

It depends on the obsession, but I voted intensity. My obsession with computer science has done a lot of great things for my life. However, I have to hide it so that I don't appear hubristic. My obsession with video games is a different matter entirely. These I hide because they're not always age ap...

No. An attractive girl who has sex with strangers is probably fraught with disease.

There's also the problem of my anxiety.

I don't remember it that way either, so I guess I'm not exactly opposite. I just can't relate maps to first-person view.

Having a GPS system that displays both position and direction helps with this. Once you get used to that, visualizing yourself on a regular map becomes a lot easier.

I'm the same way. Until I got my Droid with 3G and Google Maps, I'd get lost ALL the time - even going places that I'd ridden to many times.

At age 5, I noticed that all of the other kids had more friends. When I was 10 or so, I realized that I was more annoying than (and bullied more often than) most kids. When I was 14, my dark and cynical sense of humor came out. Naively, I frequently said inappropriate things. I sank into a deep depr...
