Imagine a year in the far future, within your lifespan, but many years. Your child falls out of favor with a witch who sends them back in time and will only let them return home if their parent-- you-- lets them by making them a potion and having them drink it. They get have the ability to make anyo...

I love that, too!

BTW, I showed "Western Spaghetti" to my non-Autistic mom and brother. She didn't get it, he called it "disturbing".

I mean, I was on tumblr, (so doubt this if you must. :p) And I came across a video of someone cutting a red plushie thing up. It was sooo pleasing to watch somehow. Someone else commented that it was weird, then another said it was meant for Autistics, though others found it odd. I had no idea that ...

Ye.

I felt guilty, because I did think they were very nice and were nice to do this for my dad. I liked them, I just didn't know how to respond to the attention.

I want to be comfortable with it, I feel like I just can't win.

When I'm at school, I'm ignored. People don't invite me anywhere. They don't seem to like me. Occasionally, they pay attention to me positively... And I hate it. I don't know why. About four of my dad's college students held a dinner for him. They ordered pizza and we all sat out on a pavilion. They...

I thought like that when I was younger. Now, my classmates speak of philosophy and politics on a high level. They outperform me at school. My IQ tests and SATs say I'm smarter than average, if not gifted, but I don't see it. IMO intelligence is hard to quantify and I find I'm happier if I appreciate...

Though he is never ID'd as a having aspergers the most accurate aspie character on TV IMHO is "Brick": the youngest child in the family in the sitcom "the Middle". In the earlier seasons he even had verbal "stims" (though they arent called that in the show). He does se...

He's not officially stated to, it's fan speculation. Like I said, Abed's not that bad imo, but it still seems like the screenwriters and whatnot are taking the "coolest" symptoms of Asperger's, theatrical, but not "annoying" things, and leaving out stims and sensory issues...

Your brother doesn't sound really all that "NT"--unless you mean that he's not autistic.

Yeah. Is there another name for non-Autistic?

He was evaluated for bipolar, Asperger's, cyclic depression, and anxiety, as far as I know, but only diagnosed with the latter two. I am happy and sad. I am glad that I have some differentiation, but sad that I cannot share this with him, especially since no one in my family seems to have Asperger'...
