Hello,
Lately there is a lot of talk on how IE is insecure. How Firefox is the best web browser out there. I agree to be honest. Its faster than Internet Explorer by far. My question is:

Do you use Mozilla Firefox and if so, what do you like best about it?

Yes. Reason: Custimization and in linux it's the best far and away.

Also, from time to time I will use lynx. But that's pretty rare now, and only certain sites if and when.

I use Opera. Linux kinda is bloaty and doesn't empty that cache while its running and swollows memorie. I think you can turn the option off some how though. I just like opera better. I use lynx some times but I GUI browsers are easier and i think. And look better with graphics.

Of course its on Macs. Things that will run on both Windows and Linux pretty much always run on a Mac too.

As a general rule, if something will compile under a linux, it will most likely compile on OSX. OSX is really just a BSD with a nice interface.

Thank-you for informing me of this. I stand corrected.

I used to use Firefox quite a bit, but I decided to try Opera back in September. I noticed that it utilised less memory that Firefox, and was a little bit faster, so I decided to keep running it, and it's now my main browser, Though I still will use Firefox occaisionally.

Yup, it's safer and just more reliable, plus not as complicated as Internet Explorer or Netscape. That's all I can say really. It's just that good. :)

Firefox rocks. The extensions are great, the interface is intuitive, it isn't as full of security holes as IE and when an exploit is found its patched pretty quickly... whats not to like? Only niggle is that Java applets sometimes make it lock up. Meh.

I tried Opera and found it slightly faster than Firefox, but it lacks my favourite extensions, and I found the interface confusing and frankly fugly. Still better than IE though, and far more secure. :P

I use both Opera and Firefox on both Mac OSX and Windows. Opera for most things due to speed. I keep things like Flash, Java, and GIF animations turned off in Opera since they rarely have a legitimate purpose. I switch to Firefox when I want the fancy stuff, or for a website that doesn't work correctly under Opera. I also use Opera for my email client.

Opera is so much better than Firefox I've no idea why anybody intelligent would want to use Firefox. (or ie) Opera has sooo many features, for one. At least half the Firefox extensions come with Opera, and in a faster, smaller package. And so many gorgeous skins that'll replace the interface. Firefox has nothing special but the extension system, and how secure is that? plugins made by people you don't know that can auto-update anytime?

If you use IE, I feel sorry for you.

Firefox good.

Opera's ok. I just don't like the way it handles. Firefox I like. The memory usage isn't a problem and it's lightning quick for me. "nothing special but the extensions" well there are some pretty powerful extensions out there, incuding the Developer bar. Not to mention AdBlock... what ads? I haven't seen one here in a looongg time.

IE is horrible I think most people would agree with that. You know what? I can't delete it. I've tried. It's built in... now that's creepy.
