Most people should think the natives for anceint technology they way the natives did things some many years ago is amazing look at the mayans the aztecs hitties ect their handle of the economy was even more brilliant.

A generation or two down from a Critical Juncture, the world would look very different. The laws of physical nature remain the same however. Hence the same Play, different Cast.

Think of the movie -Casablanca- staring Ronald Regan as Rick Blaine and Vivien Leigh as Ilsa Lund. This was the original proposed cast for the movie. What we got was the same play, different cast.

In the long run, yes. Although cities would still be located where geographical features dictated.
