I want to extract layer names and coordinates onto a .csv file, but I can't find the python-fu module and I don't get script-fu scripting. I also couldn't find a way to open the raw data of the .xcf file. There are so many layers to be sifted through that It's not sensible to go through them manually.

So where can I find python-fu for Python 3, can someone write a script-fu for it or tell me how to open an xcf file in text/some format where I can readily extract layer info.

Thank you.

I assume you're using GIMP?

Just hazarding a guess, but you probably have to get the package by running the command 'pit install python-fu' - I've only interacted with the GUI side of GIMP for the most part so I couldn't tell you the first thing about python-fu, other than the fact it should be relatively straightforward.
