My boss actually brought this up at work today.
First, you have to install QuickTime. Yea, I know, they come in a nifty little bundle package, but thats the problem. Once you have QuickTime installed, you then go and find a QT free version of iTunes. Since it's using a different installler, it seems to work for most people.
