I loved it. I can't wait for the next episode.

Hopefully, they'll come shoot by where I work . . . they left off about 2 miles away on Marietta St.

LOL I put my comment in the wrong thread. (It was meant for The Simpsons thread)

But yes on the subject of The Walking Dead...I'm not big on zombies (they scare the heck out of me) but I took a chance with this show anyway cuz I love post apocalyptic scenarios. Now I can wait to download the next episode. 8)

Zombie series, and a good one at that (pilot, so far),... about time.

Add my wife and me to the list as a Walking Dead fans!
For at least a couple weeks leading up to Halloween, my five year old daughter had been talking constantly about The Walking Dead, and... So, even though I know not everyone would approve of letting a kid in Kindergarten watch something about cannibalistic zombies - but hey, she's my kid, my call.
Add my daughter, too. 8)

Excellent. I'm going to watch the second episode tomorrow, loved the first one. Absolutely mind-blowing graphically, I don't think I've ever seen such a realistic depiction of zombies. The pilot episode probably had the budget of a movie.

Oh he'll yes, it's already been renewed for a 13-episode 2nd season.

http://www.tvguide.com/news/walking-dea ... 25215.aspx

Semi-spoiler:

My guess is it'll focus on the prison, and end with them leaving it.

Edit: Actually, they might end the third season (if there is one) with them leaving it, given how much they're stretching out the episodes. They're only about halfway through the first TPB's story now.

Oh, I LOVE this show. I haven't read the comics, and I don't want to. I read some of the true blood books and it kinda ruined season 3 for me. But I am SO so SOOOOoooooo loving this show. 2 episodes down. I just wish they would do it like anime and make it a year round thing, instead of these convoluted seasons.

Also started watching Rubicon by AMC just to see what kind of quality to expect from AMC, and that's also an awesomely made show!

BRAAAAaaaains. . . . . . Giggidy.

I caught the first two episodes. I have to say that I was pleasently surprised by the show. The production designer and cinematographer have really created a gritty look. The concept is great, even though the story is lacking at times. Also, the acting is great and I think it makes up for somewhat weaker writing.

I loved this show. The guy they got to play Glenn is perfect, exactly how I imagined him from the comics. Awesome.

Awesome show. You really felt bad for Carol when she lost her sister.

My 8 YO brother watches it. But that's because I've shown him short videos showing how they put on the makeup. He knows its fake.

I knew coming in that Andrea's sister dies(I've read some of the comic), but it didn't dampen the impact. Andrea's reaction was heart-wrenching as if the actress's sister actually died.
