I'm thinking we've all seen villains on TV, or in the movies, that despite how horrible they are, we HAVE TO appreciate them----those who are REALLY good, at being bad.

Please post your favorite person who is the BEST, at being the WORST!! You can post the character, OR the actor.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Imelda Staunton, as Professor Umbridge - "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix": She actually makes me feel a little sick, to my stomach----but, I HAVE TO appreciate what an OUTSTANDING job, she did, acting that part.
i think carrie's mom, margaret, (the original 70's version to be specific) did an exceptionally good job at being a nut.
Lee J. Cobb as Johnny Friendly in On the Waterfront. (Actually, he's not friendly at all. He's a ruthless gangster union boss)
Patrick McGoohan as Edward I in Braveheart.
Agreed with Snape and Umbridge, but I REFUSE to call them professors.
Denzel Washington as Alonzo Harris in Training Day.
Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Iselin in The Manchurian Candidate.
Bryan Cranston as Walter White in Breaking Bad.
Heath Ledger as The Joker in The Dark Knight.
Sergi Lopez as Captain Vidal in Pan's Labyrinth.
Ralph Fiennes as Amon Goeth in Schindler’s List.
Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men.
This is a bit parochial, and will not mean much to most of the worldwide WP audience, but an actor called Malcolm Tierney was brilliant as a Merseyside gangster called Tommy Mc'Ardle in the early to mid 1980s, in the British soap opera Brookside.
LOL I hear ya!!
Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Iselin in The Manchurian Candidate.
MAN, I MISSED that one----I've never seen Angela play a baddie----I LOVE her!!
Ralph Fiennes as Amon Goeth in Schindler’s List.
What? No Voldemort?
Jason Isaacs, as Malfoy, Sr. ("You saw only what the Dark Lord wanted you to see." One of the best line deliveries, in cinematic history, IMO!!)
David Morrissey as the Governor in seasons 3 and 4 of 'The Walking Dead.' He did an exceptional job of almost making the horrific things that character did seem almost justified.
I never saw movies 5-8. I gave up on Harry Potter by then, so I really don't know.
I think the best at being the worst is:
Darth Vader - Star Wars movies.
Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious - Star Wars movies.
Walter White/Heisenberg - Breaking Bad.
Gus Fring - Breaking Bad.
The Cigarette Smoking Man - The Xfiles.
Thulsa Doom - Conan The Barbarian.
The Swede - Hell On Wheels.
John Ryder - The Hitcher.
I'm certain there are others.
And it turns out, there are in fact others:
Dudley Smith - L.A. Confidential.
Kiser Soze/Verbal Kint - The Usual Suspects.
Count Orlock - Nosferatu.
Frank Booth - Blue Velvet.
Tommy DeVitto - Good Fellas.
The Governor - The Walking Dead.
J.K. Simmons as Vernon Schillinger on HBO's "OZ".
