I thought it was a pretty interesting film. To quote Willy Wonka: "I thought it was getting a little dodgy in the middle part, but then that finale... Wow!"

I thought it was weird and I actually made fun of it.

The movie is okay. The graphic novel is outstanding.

I liked it, though it gets a bit boreing at times the story/setting is good, and V is pretty cool. I say Kudos for Hugo Weaving's acting.

I thought it made a great movie, though I have never read the graphic novel. Though I thought Guy Faulks was an odd role model for V, as Faulks was a reactionary trying to overthrow the rule of parliament, and bring back the rule absolutist rule of the Stewart dynasty.

I have often tried to imagine the world that would be if Guy Fawkes had succeeded.

Sorry, I should have known it was Guy Fawkes, not Guy Faulkes as I called him.
And if Fawkes had succeeded, then I think monarchies would have much more credibility in the west than they deserve to have. And being that the American Revolution was an extension of the English enlightenment, Fawkes' terrible legacy may have been that liberty would have been an enfeebled concept, if not stillborn.

That used to be my sig on here after I first saw V For Vendetta. Come to think of it, V for Vendetta probably could have developed into a special interest if I had allowed it to. Maybe I'll go back to it once I'm tired of Tim Burton stuff.
