Looks like this might be a decent cartoon adaptation for once.

My grandparents have boxes of very old magazines that has little transcripts of tintin comics in it. Its funny how it was set up to have a never-ending story, to ensure the reader would get the next volume of the magazine to continue reading.

Wish it was live action but that is fine. He looks a little young though for how I remember tintin.

I have old Tintin comics and yes, the movie version looks like a kid in comparison. Tintin is like in his late 20s or early 30's in the original comics.

It's probably going to bomb due to the uncanny valley effect that the use of mocap causes. Look at what happened with Polar Express and Mars Needs Moms.

It may have mocap, but Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are working on it and those guys know how to make good movies. I'm gonna give this a chance.

I'm so excited. I have been looking forward to seeing this ever since I heard about it. I have all of the books and have loved almost all of the stories.
