So...what did you think? Wasn't episode four amazing? Didn't you feel so bad for Jack after he had to kill Curtis? And the mushroom cloud so wasn't expected. But I am wondering what will happen to CTU? Is this going to be its last season? Will everyone be doomed? I am so anxious!

Can someone please explain what 24 is?

i was waiting for jack to have a total breakdown...i keep wondering what his daughter is doing during all of this.

either i'm used to my sister's happy shows where everything goes right in the end or i just didn't see that atom bomb explosion coming...i stared at the screen slightly confused for a minute or two there.

this may help

http://www.fox.com/24/

it's slightly complicated...it's basically about terrorism

24 is the greatest show on television. The premise is that it takes place in one day, and each epispde is one hour---so there are 24 episodes every season.

The main character is Jack Bauer, and "today is the worst day of [his] life."

I cannot begin to definitively describe this show in this post. But trust me, it's AWESOME.

It's between 23 and 25.

It is the number of hours in a day.

It is the number worn by, among others, Willie Mays and Manny Ramirez.

I really wish they could just ignore Kim Bauer for this season. She annoys me.

And I stared at the screen because it was unexpected. And I was waiting for Jack to break down more, but dang! Those terrorists have no idea what they've done. If they hadn't gone and set off a nuke, they might have done more damage, but now Jack is Back and PISSED OFF.

That is my right-quick-and-in-a-hurry photoshop summary of the end of episode 4. What an ending. I can't wait to get the rest. iTunes FINALLY has the season up for download (and I totally just bought the entire season, and will also purchase the DVD on the 16. OBSESSED, I say!)

Favorite moments so far:

Chloe and Morris talking about Morris and his attitude problem

Chloe telling Morris and Milo to chill out, that just because she dated Milo and got back together with Morris doesn't mean anything. (Especially liked this moment because it made me laugh out loud since I HIGHLY DOUBT that is what the problem was about in the first place, therefore furthering my belief that Chloe is an Aspie.)

Jack getting off the plane and talking for the first time. (Did anyone else think he looked like a really dirty Jesus picture. Which kind of fits, since Jesus is, what, the savior of mankind, and Jack is, well, so far Jack is the savior of America.)

Jack going all Lost Boys on UnKnown Terrorist Drone and escaping.

Jack saying "I don't know how to do this anymore" and looking like he really didn't want to remember.

Jack ramming into Terrorist Handler's car.

Chloe crying because she thinks Jack is dead.

Moment when Chloe shows Bill what she knew all along, that Jack is ALWAYS right, which is why he helped Assad escape.

Jack after shooting Curtis. "I can't do this anymore."

Moment from the episode 5 preview where Jack realizes what just happened and switches back into Federal Agent mode. (This is the moment when the viewers realize what the Evil Terrorists obviously don't: That Jack is pissed off and ready to up his Terrorist Kill Count. Watch out, Fayed, for you are f******!

I’m never paying for another train ticket ever again. “My name is Jack Bauer, I’m a federal agent, that man over there has explosives strapped to his chest, if he suspects that anything unusual is going on he’ll set them off, keep walking” is my new line. And if any of you steal it, I’ll kick you out of a moving train.

And finally, before we move on, remember: Jack Bauer ate a man last night. He was strapped to a chair, he had no weapons to his disposal, he was about to get his finger cut off… so he ate a man.

I know. I wasn't expecting that to happen at all. Now I am trying to teach myself how to figure out nuclear fallout from the blast. And I hope Jack isn't running around in a hazmat suit for the next 20 hours.
