You look like you're getting ready to go out and conquer something...rocks I guess! The background is amazing. This makes me want to visit Alaska.

The background environment is making me a little dizzy! Truly epic landscape.
This may seem like a silly question, but do you also enjoy rock-hounding?
I used to enjoy going to the Mojave collecting obsidian. There are enormous areas where it seems like you're standing on one solid gigantic volcanic rock.

I have been known to (err. accused of) being a rock hound by some people I know. The strangest thing always happens on any hike, and not just on traverses for geologic field investigations: my backpack coming out of a hike seems to always be heavier than it was going into the hike... I wonder why? :)

Welcome to WP! To upload a picture, first you need an account on an image hosting site (I personally use Photobucket). Upload the picture, then get the URL of the image (displayed under the thumbnail in the gallery) and paste it into your post. At the beginning of the post, put in . This should put the image into your post.

A picture I previously posted in another thread, but I frequent here, so thought it was better suited here.

Here I am with my James and baby girl Sophie.

Cool Picture. It appears as if you were outside waiting for something to happen.
