I have been looking around at your community and I thought it would be a great place to collect some information for my research. A while back I was moved by an article I read on the difficulties that some ASD children have when attending the dentist and the lack of knowledge dentists have when treating a child on the severe end of the spectrum. I want to change this! I am a student at Florida International University working on collecting past experiences from parents about their child's first dental visit. If you all could spread the word I would really appreciate it! My goal is to evaluate these surveys once I have collected enough responses and work with dentists in several communities to pilot a better treatment plan. The survey is 100% anonymous! http://goo.gl/forms/gfXx9sKSkc.

I will try to place this post in several areas in this and other forums and hope to receive some feedback. Thank you so much for your time!
