I am a former 101st airborne myself
...helicopter mechanic/ crew cheif that flew front seat in AH-1( pilot assigned was test pilot, luckily),

Me.to pilot......" Yeeeee Haaaaa ,... its bad enough that we are flying thru our own schrap....and I am going to have to fix that, ...but could you stop hitting the trees..."

after that

fitter/fabricator in petro/chem industry, 22yrs now

I find myself between digital cameras and hardware,
