Hello peeps. My name's Scott and I just found this site, after recently being confirmed I have AS.. so decided to take the plunge. Perhaps this place could be a sanctuary. Making friends in person is next to a lost cause. I've barely tasted romance and oh yeah, not working at the moment. Other tragic events in my family that occured in the past year have made things extra tumultuous.
I may be a poster child for Asperger's..as I fit many of the criteria (one of which I don't, is that I have no aversion to being touched, I'm as affectionate as anyone)..and speaking of children, at times I feel like I'm a 41 year old kid.
Well I do hope to forge honest genuine lasting friendships here. Possibly there is a niche hidden for me somewhere
