On what "Platform" is WP built? Doesn't seem to be PHP.

I am aware there are some "off the shelf" forum applications but if WP is using such, I don't see any overt indication.

As a Java Programmer, I am rightfully curious!

I thought this site was going to be upgraded 3 years ago, I came today and still see the site looking like how it was the first time I signed up. Just a couple of minor adjustments.

I thought it was PHPbb, just that its mangled beyond recognition, kinda like roadkill that's still getting hit by traffic.

I'd say the former :lol: It is a bug-riddled mess as far as I know, held in a precarious balance where a small change can make everything go to hell, and terribly inefficient.

Seemingly, mangled beyond all recognition regarding the code.
Despite looking like a vanilla install of phpBB aesthetically, and throwing out phpBB errors.
