Anyway, not wishing to be accused of thread de-railing, I'll add that I've never noticed any systemic hostility to gays on the part of WP. However, the subject of homosexuality has been discussed from many angles numerous times over the years.

That is about as strict as strictly gets on the internet unless you want us to start up a credit card identification age verification system.

Hey ascan, you got an instant messanger name for yahoo, irc, msn, aim, or icq? I wanna ask you some questions.

For those not familiar with the terminology: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_sock_puppet

you shouldn't have to suppose a thing, ascan.
because, ascan, it is common knowledge, ascan.
ascan, i have never, ascan, denied that i have one name per forum, ascan, which, ascan, makes this, ascan, the name aspoid, ascan, not a sockpuppet, ascan

what, ascan, is the ascan, definition of sock-puppet, ascan.

huh, ascan, can ascan, please answer that one, ascan.

go ahead, ascan, the floor belongs to ascan.

If you wish to contact me then you know there are several ways. I have no problem with you, as you obviously have a mind of your own and no wish to suck-up to the socially-able elite of the aspergers world.

Btw, what mcjagger (aka aspoid) is trying to do is completely transparent.

But you have more than one here, don't you? That's the point. Of course, the others may have been banned.

When you push your victims too far, and they retaliate in the only way they know how, you ban them and threaten them with legal action.

I have'nt done any of these things whilst being an admin on Intensity here and it looks is though there's a bit of the (now infamous) ascan spin going on with the aspertions that you're casting. People argue and have arguments on all websites. We dont need you asserting yourself as some quasi-guardion of the online asperger's community. If you dislike the place so much you should cancel your membership and leave the fora, just like thousands of people do in lots of websites every day, around the world.

Possibly you're acting like a drama queeen and looking for attention? You probably spend fortunes on hard porn whilst writing into the very same companies pretending to be outraged. You old fish-wife. :P

There's no strictly about it. The adult criterion only extends as far as the TOS you sign up to when you join. As the rest of the TOS is ignored by even admins (usual stuff about indecent content etc.) then you can hardly expect people to take it seriously. Anyway, we all know you've had under 18s there.

Stop plugging the place here, or I may have to reveal a few more unpleasant facts about the people who run it.

Intensity faces the same problem as every other online fora including wrongplanet in that you cant verify who everyone is. What makes Intensity so special that the admins should impose unrealistic restrictions that no other online group does? Im not in the business of plugging anything at this moment in time. Just answering to/correcting wild allegationss and hypocrital statements of some people who are hadly in the best position to pontificate. Dont try to threaten me either. Im not involved in the running of Intensity so your huffing and puffing wont affect me, Mr Wolf.

I would try and put things into context instead of blowing everything out of proportion and selectively putting forward gossip to other websites. Any forum can be made to look bad if you are only willing to see the bad side. It seems to me that's your attitude to life and people in general.

Telling grown adults just where they should or shouldnt visit and who to communicate with. Would you have a word with yourself, please?

Eamonn, you're starting to talk like one of the ex-mods from this place. Yes, it's very easy to just ignore things; doesn't take much courage to turn a blind eye, does it? Makes for an easy life, too. Hey, when things all go pear shaped and your buddies push someone that little bit too far you can all just tut-tut, console yourselves with the knowledge that the person in question was just a bad apple and find further solace in the certainty that whatever the unpleasant consequences they had absolutely nothing to do with your actions!

Thanks. I'll do that. In the meantime, instead of throwing us more lines, how about you throw down jacobs ladder and climb back to the real world. St.Ascan.

I'd also like to reiterate that i have hardly been on the internet as of late and so have missed a lot of the recent 'issues' and thus am not the person to ask for further information on this. The news about a banning of a member on Intensity is exactly that, 'news' to me.

Indeed, eamonn. One gets the impression that your time away from the cut and thrust of forum conflict has been well spent. Having you been perusing some interesting literature by any chance?

Oh, I'm glad you acknowledge my saintly status, you're obviously a more discerning chap than that mcjagger character — you wouldn't believe the things he's been saying about me elsewhere!

The idea was to give all the trolls and f-ups from WP a place to go. Instead of just being banned from WP, or managing to hang around to create havoc, they could have a place where their shock value no longer carried such weight... with no rules save one: to back up their words. The idea is, once you let them do that, with no rules, they might discover themselves and turn from self-hating trolls to more productive and empowered individuals.

No one has ever been banned from I2.

I have invited people from all walks... some trolls, and some who just seemed like really cool people who might get a kick out of the site. But I daresay it could even help the vulnerable, because through empowerment the voiceless might develop a voice.
