Loud ads go off on each page and can´t be muted!

How do I stop this?

I can´t switch off the sound and these ads go off most of the time. Do any other experience this?

I think the OP of the thread 'Too Many Adverts On WP' in the same subforum mentions that problem.

I installed some software to block all ads and now don't see any ads at all, which is very pleasant. I really wouldn't mind some ads as long as they are not intrusive but recently ads on WP have been quite intrusive and made me take action on it.

No problem. The name of the software is Ghostery. You can easily find out about it by googling "Ghostery". The address I got the software from is "https://www.ghostery.com/en/download". It's free. And it worked straight away without any problem once I installed it on my computer.

I should mention that I got to know about Ghostery because someone on WP mentioned it fairly recently in his post in one of the threads in this WrongPlanet.net discussion subforum. Now I cannot remember who that was or which thread it was. I really should be thanking him.
