I'm going crazy - it's been 9997 for at least an hour now. I'm totally perseverating on that number in the sidebar.

Hey Star- My father was born in Holland and moved to the US when he was about 9. I have a lot of family there. My daughters look very Dutch! My maiden name is Bijl.

Yeah, like the Super Bowl or a NASA shuttle launch. One of those communal, mass-experiences that weave individuals into the fabric of society together...Um, never mind.
No, but really it was fun to watch, wait, and share w/others. Now for the after-the-adventure anticlimax where the numbers go back to being just "ho-hum". Kinda' like how birthdays (and milestones of that sort) get after a while. (smiley face)
