I'm torn on this. On one hand, I always keep one activity in the background while I concentrate on another; And on the other hand, well, what if I always multitask, but I think I can't concentrate worth a s**t?... And I still do it.

How does the scale work , does 1 represent really bad or really good? I am terrible at multitasking.......I would be a 2 or 3 (if I is really bad).

I don't know - I can eat and read things or watch movies at the same time? I can sing while doing chores or while playing an instrument... But I can't drive and talk/listen to music, in fact driving itself was hell, I had 26 hours of lessons and I'm still dangerous. I was so focused on being on the road that I didn't hear my teacher's instructions, and when she tried to have a conversation I almost got into accidents. I can't work for school and chat, or have a phone call and do anything else (maybe because I'm focusing on doing everything right and not be awkward). Or play games like Pokémon and have conversations (if I talk it's switch-tasking, just pausing my game and continuing when I don't have to talk or listen anymore. I can't drink/text and walk at the same time, except when I walk reaally slowly.
What number should I vote on? a 6-7?

I wish you had separated the results by gender.

Generally, women tend to be the multi-taskers while men are good at concentrating on just one thing.

You can look in people's profiles.

I can be a multi-tasker to a degree, but prefer to focus on one thing if possible. If I multi-task it is best if it is organized well and not more than two things at once. Hmm....

I raised 4 kids. Multi-tasking is a survival skill.

Depends if I'm interested in it or not...

Also I think you really mean multitasking efficiency in regards to actually GETTING WORK DONE.

Nothing special. Just personal empirical data.

I've learned to multitask quite well. I can do my homework with a lot of distractions, most likely because I'm used to living with three loud younger sisters and their friends.

I'm pretty good at it depending on the things I'm multitasking and my overall level of stress.
