I have been learning tarot for last 5 years
and one of my colleague asked me to do a tarot reading for her

i just emailed her reading to her official mail ID
and asked for email feedback

she did not call back, neither replied by mail
when she met me she said that i should not have send it via her official mail ID

Also she had asked question about marriage for which i had written love marriage on cards
she found this strange because her family is planning for arranged marriage

Overall her attitude towards the reading was kind of holding back and she was not forthcoming
off course i have not been paid for it too........

DO you'll feel i should not announce to known people that i read tarot and atleast not to
my colleagues since i have to work there and it will be creating negative impression about me.

Depends on where in the work environment you are sharing this information...if its during business hours its not professional to do...if its during a lunch break and before/after work than its perfectly fine..in a casual setting of course. I dont think you should have used office e-mail to converse this information as businesses spy on internal emails. You should have asked her an appropiate way to contact her about your findings.

hmm....but she told some of the colleague already about what i had written
so why is she so secretive about using official email ID
well it was from home that i send her reading
not during lunch or office hour
well i should call this quits now and not read for office people
its getting risky 8O

Its probably best to leave your personal life out of the office when it comes to hobbies...you never know when office politics and who likes or dislikes you comes into play, and how something innocent like that can come back and bite you in the ass

Since tarot reading is a scam, you will probably have to deal with a lot of people who don't react positively to it. So yeah, it'll probably be best to keep your clients as far away as possible.

Well maybe it provides a source of perceived guidance and stuff, and there can be real value in that kind of service, but the readings still have no logical basis in reality.

All I'm saying is that even if you are sincere and well-meaning, you are bound to come across a lot of people who will react negatively to you and think that you are just trying to rip them off, or insult their intelligence, so it may be prudent to minimize direct contact with the clients if it is possible to do that and still earn a living.

have you taken a reading yourself ever???

i agree that many people who have not encountered such things believe that its fake and scam....many things in this universe dont have answers
for eg. child prodigies.
