SAD as in Seasonal Affective Disorder or something else? I'm guessing you mean something sensory.

One thing that I have worked out over time is that within the world in general there are lots of people and especially women who have anxiety and panic attacks and that people are quite forgiving of those sort of things. Knowing that has meant I don't feel so anxious about being anxious. Even the faux pas, I've figured that just about anything is forgiveable except if you don't express some kind of interest in people then they think you hate them. So I do things like send the neighbours Christmas cards, and nod and smile when I see them. Apparently I smile too broadly and it makes me look slightly bonkers but I'm relaxed about that.

Hope these ideas help a bit.
