Figured I'd want to make an official thread about this at some point. So...here we go.





Remothered is an upcoming unofficial remake of the SNES classic Clock Tower. It's being developed and published by Mansyon Studios for the PC. Biggest difference being, while the original was mainly a puzzle-escape game, Remothered is darker, scarier, and more stealth-based.


And for those not in the know about Clock Tower, it was about four teenage orphans who take up residence in a mansion owned by a mysterious woman named Mary Burrows and her family. The main protagonist is a girl named Jennifer Simpson. The game follows her as she tries to escape from both Mary and her son Bobby, aka The Scissorman, a 9-year-old psychotic killer who follows Jennifer around with a giant pair of scissors. One by one Jennifer's friends are killed and she must find her own way to escape alive.

The original game had several different endings depending on what actions you took and how you went about trying to find out what was happening to your friends. How many survived? Did Jennifer survive? You get the idea. You can find all the endings on youtube.

On 7/11 an interview was posted with the creator. Also there are screenshots of the game, character profiles, wallpapers, and a download of the official soundtrack. If you can't make it out (it is in Italian), translate it with Google, worked for me. I wouldn't want to post the link to the soundtrack on here. Here's the link for that interview:

Am I offending someone? O_o Just curious. Second board I've posted this at and got no replies. Lol just find it odd.

Looks interesting. I've played the original before and it was alright.
