I started when I was 12 , it was my passion and my love untill now. Well, it still is my first love but I am trying to reduce the gaming a bit

Zerg is my favourite race and thats where I got my nickname.. Kerrigan as in Infested Kerrigan, the zergbabe :P

Starcraft is awesome! I used to play like a madman back in the day but lately I only give Broodwar a whirl once in a while. My preference has always been the 'toss. Nothing can beat those Carriers!

For the idiotic phrase of the day:

"P05+ P1X 0F j00 1N 5k1mpy 13a+h3r l1k3 K3rr1gan."

I play Terrans, and have attempted some weirder trick: Vulture Rushing. After building enough marines and firebats to safeguard my base, I rush to building spider mines and get a large fleet of Vultures to dump mines into the enemy base, right next to the main structures (barracks, etc.)

I play Warcraft 3 a lot, unfortunately Starcraft was before my days of playing on the college network with friends (getting our money's worth out of the damn ripoff institution  ) I liked Starcraft but I just can't put up with the a-holes on Battle.net

I still play broodwars from time to time. I enjoy playing zero clutter maps and massing hydras.

I never really had a chance to get into Starcraft, but I'm a big Warcraft fan since WC2 back in 96...

At the moment I've been playing World of Warcraft a lot. I have a Night Elf Druid with a badass pornstar mustache. :D

Starcraft is way too complex for me, but I allways loved C+C redalert. Time to build more silos!

Aww, lots of fun! Starcraft is great, I used to play it lots, but it's getting dated. I like the sci fi feel of it, but I like Warcraft a bit better in terms of the game. It's a little more balanced.

What always irritated me with starcraft was that there'd be people on there for like 12 hours a day who can rush you in two seconds, denying you of the chance for an actual engaging game.

But those battles that have fleets of 10 carriers and a massive foot army, bases all over the map, the chase around the map to find hidden units and outposts, strategically placed detectors, etc....those are always great.

WarCraft isn't quite as grand, but it can be a little more strategic and easier to play well, and it seems more immersive and rich, but Starcraft was all of those things when it first came out.

Long live Starcraft!

I don't really have a chance to play it much and when I do I get rocked on. However I definitely agree on Zerg just because I'm all about the non-conventional sabatoge like hatching terran tanks and goliaths with Queens when they role into battle or plaguing protoss carriers with defilers and such - the destructive mischief is what makes em that much more fun to use (that and getting a laugh out of how much your probably pi55ing off your opponents).

I like Terrans, for their ever-so-lovely Science Vessel...

"Sir, there are 8 fully-shielded Archons headed our way..."

Or the ever-classic Ghost/Wraith combo works wonders at stopping a Battlecruiser rush dead. Battlecruisers can beat Carriers if they get the drop (Carrier=Range 8; Yamato Gun=Range 10. You do the math). And who here can deny the effectiveness of a wall of Siege Tanks?

I've had starcraft for about 5 years now. I have just stopped playing it online about 6 months ago because less people seem to be playing starcraft online these days. As can be expected with such an old game.

I like the map BGH. Because you don't have worry about your minral fields running out. I wish that there was an option to have minral fields or 1500 or 50000. Or though the games with only 1500 minrals at each field were more challenging and stratigic some time you just like to be able to brute force people with out having to worry about balancing you minral and running out of minrals and having to find new bases like you do when you are playing the Lost Temple map.

In starcraft the think I like the most was drops. Doing reaver drops or Tank and Golitah drops or lurker drops. You could completely by pass you opponts defence if they were stupid enough and just take there probe, scvs or drones out before there army reaches you to defened them selfs.

I am thinking of getting WC3 soon. Does any one think that that game will run alright with out to much lag on a computer with a 56kb modem? and 32mb on board vidieo.

I dunno about the WC3 man... I have a hard time judging from what you've told me (CPU speed in GHz, and the model of video card i.e. Radeon 9XXX would be more informative), but I kinda doubt 56k would work all that well.

Oh it worked fine. I have 2.4ghz Pentium 4 with 512mb of ram. Soon to be upped to a gig.
The video card runs WC3 not too baddly but I need to replace the video card. Im going to chuck in some bottem of the range 64mb Nivda card soon. I mite put a 6800 gt Radeon in the computer at some stage but im not sure about that one because my agp slot is only 4x so I think I need to replace my mother board. And it could be better to just replace my whole system soon if it gets any more out of date.

Starcraft is ancient. Warcraft 3 is the same game in a fantasy setting. Production values are incredible.
