Thanks for the link, Patrick. I had better bookmark it.

Some people may regard the movie Saved! as borderline blasphemous.

It is about a conservative teenaged Christian girl whose boyfriend tells her that he is gay, and she is convinced that Jesus tells her to have coitus with him, in order to save him. She becomes pregnant.

The movie is very well done, and I highly recommend it. It may even cause conservative Christians to reflect upon their attitudes.

"Citizen Ruth" --http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115906/-- is a satire that manages to skewer BOTH sides of the abortion debate. if that's not blasphemous, i don't know what is.

An evangelist admits it's all a bit act, lie and sham. The documentary was called Marjoe.

A friend and I looked up Marjoe Gortner upon watching the clip you provided. And that's where I learned not only that Marjoe went on to become an actor, but in fact I recognized him from movies like Food Of The Gods, and When You Coming Back, Red Rider (I think it was called). I had no idea that guy started out as a religious scammer.

I found out that the Marjoe movie won an academy award for best documentary.

The Holy Mountain

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071615/

Quite possibly the weirdest movie I've ever seen.

It is the sort of thing one might expect to be presented at an art museum. There is a lot of art to the movie.

Unfortunately, it got a bit long. But, I recommend it, if you happen to be in the mood for something both weird and blasphemous.

I dunno, wouldn't the woman's relatives be able to infer her face from the very ineffectual "blurry spot"?

You know, I'm not a believer, in the sense that i don't need to formulate an argument about my lack of belief.

I think getting off on blasphemy is an expression of belief.

There's "Religulous" starring that comic who's name escapes right now - its quite good.

If you're more into blasphemy than quality then you should watch Sarah Silverman's "Jesus is Magic" which is so blasphemous that it managed to offend even a not particularly religous viewer like me, but was only so-so as a film.

I've seen the film "Religulous", it is quite good. Makes a fairly strong point.

People have mentioned Life of Brian, but nobody has mentioned Dogma. I will tell you that anything with Jay and Silent Bob talking about religion is both brilliant and very sacreligious. Consider that the cast also contains Chris Rock and the late great George Carlin, you've got a pretty good line up. I will warn, however, that it's a bit low brow, so those with more sophisticated humor may not appreciate it.

I absolutely loved Dogma!

Dogma is one of my most favorite movies of all time... Kevin Smith is brilliant.

There is a new movie coming out, based on the Book of Mormon

It looks to be as nonsensical as anything.
