The censorship code makes this look a lot worse than it is.

All of that stuff either a republican would have done anyway or I don't approve of it. :|

So where are the jobs?

Obama's policies have not decreased the rate of unemployment appreciably.

It is much easier to destroy than to create.

You're expecting 8 years of destruction to be rebuilt in 2?

If you believe The Prince, yes.

Another six years of Obama will completely destroy our economy beyond repair.

You're confusing Obama with Bernanke (the Greenspan acolyte). Bernanke's measures and approach to money has far reaching consequences and will hurt the very core value of our money in ways that Obama couldn't even begin to touch.

Only known way to increase jobs short term is to derregularize them and, for example, reduce minimum wage and benefits and stuff...

Good luck pushing that in the US.

If the economy wrecks, it will push itself.

Indeed, it is far easier for any president to just wait for it to happen than to enforce it and get even more blame even though it would actually fix the unemployment issue.

Regarding the economy as a whole, only way to fix US economy in a short term is to start a war.

And yeah, that's the sort of thing that is very popular in the US, so I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if a new war starts this month.

And that would also increase crime and homelessness with a currency that is losing value. It'd be a short term gain for a long term loss.

I never said it was a good thing to do.

I am just saying, that people expecting short term solutions to big economic issues should... stop... please:)

WW2 is what ended the Great Depression. You might be on to something.

Actaully, a pretty good way to increase employment would've been to stop the bailouts and instead donate money to newly created small banks and Credit Unions around the country to start lending to businesses. The current crop of banksters simply held onto the money or used it to buy government debt and charge interest on it.

A better way to increase employment, much better than trying to (fecklessly) "CREATE PRIVATE SECTOR JOBS" would have been to expand the public sector and start repair America's decrepit infastructure.

Doubt it. There's no benefit in invading Sudan or Yemen, even less North Korea.

Iran's a fast developing country that's makes Israel feel uneasy. It has oil-rich lands and borders with Iraq in the West and Afghanistan in the East, and both countries as we know are swarming with US and European troops, so Iran will be sandwiched by two fronts. If they take over Iran, than all three countries will become one huge piece of occupied land. But more importantly their anti-Western/Israel attitude and their recent interest in nuclear energy will be the best fuel for the propaganda-machine.

24 on 24. Fox news and CNN: Iran developed weapons of mass destruction and supports evil freedom-hating terrorists: the end of the world is near, but do not fear! The heroic US army will save the day by bombing the Satan-worshiping Muslims back to the prehistoric age and bring them freedom and democracy. For Jesus and Uncle Sam! God Bless America!
