Came across the first article I've seen questioning Rick Perry's christianity.

A topic that would usually be considered in poor taste, but he does sort of bring it on himself.

I think it's in pretty poor taste for a sitting governor to use his office to promote his religion.

Is he passing laws to discriminate against other religions?

If this were a Governor that happened to be gay, and was speaking about his/her homosexuality, would you be singing the same tune?

Funny you should bring it up. But I'm not here to talk about whether Perry is a closeted gay man.

If a gay governor was using their office and resources of the state to promote a massive, televised convention conceived of and executed to promote the cause of anal sex, yes, I'd think that was in poor taste.

Questions of taste aside, Governor Perry has taken overt actions to place his avowed faith front and center on his presidential campaign.

He cannot both make it an issue and refuse to be questioned on it.

So you're saying that Governor Perry is a closeted fudge-packer?

And who is Rick Perry and why would I care?

The question seems to me more appropriate to leader of a religious organization - if this guy is a governor it has the interest of Oaama's religion or Kenedy's or Lieberman's.

Well, after a quick look at the Drudge Report, it appears that our Inuyasha isn't the first to have thought Rick Perry to be a closeted queer.

Well done, Inuyasha!

Are you implying that I'm gay as well as liberal?

Not that there would be anything wrong with that.

Perry is speaking in code. He's saying "I'm not Mormon".

There is a question mark at the end of the statement. That makes it a question.
