Taking a kid's movie and interweaving it with a political agenda is garbage.

And in the USA, there are no "starving" poor. All the programs are there for those deemed "poor."

Now, there are a lot of people who are not "poor" enough to qualify for these programs, but that's how the welfare system is deliberately designed...help only the destitute and cut them off as soon as they start to gain some independence so that they have little choice but either deal with hunger or chose to be dependent on government programs.

Intelligent people don't watch Fox Noise anyway.

As much as I detest Fox News, I have to admit that I've never heard of an American child starving to death apart from abuse/neglect cases. However, poor children ARE eating a lot of cheap, processed, nutritionally-deficient food that is causing them to be both obese and simultaneously malnourished.

Taking an innocent kid's movie and turning it into politics, that's low. I wonder what Statler and Waldorf would have to say about this.

Just yesterday, I was listening to Sean Hannity's drivel on the radio and he made a statement to the effect of " The Democrats are always depicting Republicans and conservatives as greedy money grabbers that want dirty air and water and want to kill grandma, and we are not" OK, Hannity, prove it, prove that you can show compassion and not be greedy.

But the Republicans want to eliminate food stamps so children can starve.
