well it's nice to know we can all be millionaires if we put our minds to it even the arse people . :)

Putting one's mind to it is necessary but not sufficient. One must also have some essential talents among which are the ability to focus ones efforts and identify problems accurately. Also having a bit of luck doesn't hurt one bit.

Most people do not have the focus and drive to be successful business persons which is why most people end up working for others.

If America was a proper democracy we would be seeing New deal pt 2, is their a level of wealth concentration that would concern those on the Right if the top 1 % owned 50 % of the nations wealth would that be excessive ?

At what figure will America unite and say "enough is enough" :?

Maybe when we are down to two classes......the poor and the very wealthy, there will be a lot of pissed off former middle class people.

This might have been what it meant when Cornflake used the abbreviation (thanks for clearing it up by the way Cornflake), but your original response was just as valid. It was just a different version of the same thing. :)

Venture capitalism is not boring. It's very interesting and it takes a lot of social skills.

You can say that again! This idea of Mitt Romney having asperger syndrome is dumb. Just because a political figure lacks social savoir fair don't mean that he has a social disability.

Mitt Romney's vicious, domineering behaviours & "youthful pranks". Really, a jerkass rich kid.

Being a successful business person usually means managing people. When the business grows to the size where you can become a rich CEO, you end up being a figurehead and delegating a lot of day-to-day details to middle-managers who may do stupid things or have their own wrong-headed agenda. You stop having direct control of the creation of your product. Instead your job becomes to control people who create things for you. What kind of aspie in their right mind would want to become a millionaire CEO? More likely the aspie invents something and then the better schmoozer/wheeler-dealer with less concern for ethics and modesty has to take over and gets most of the credit and financial reward. I'm not completely demonizing all large business owners, but anyone with a clue knows that "nice people" who do everything by the books and don't try to push any legal or ethical boundaries don't usually make it to the very top. I'm not saying it's easy either. It's just that most of the time it's a bit more than just "hard work and diligence". A lot of it is social skills, having balls, and even being a jerk and stepping on others every once in a while. I mean, sure Bill Gates gives quite a bit to charity and may be a basically decent person but he was also directly behind all kinds of nasty anti-competitive crap Microsoft was pulling from the very beginning.

That's a fair point it would be interesting to know how much of these @ practices are directly the doing of Billy Boy, I suspect he invents and gets the other people to TKB (take care of business).

I have similar views of Warren Buffet the problem I have with Hamburger and coke man he seems a little to squeaky clean for my liking , still it's nice his giving away his fortune I didn't believe he would do it when he said he was going to give it all away in latter in life, its nice to be pleasantly surprised from time to time.

Romney is just rich and out of touch. It can happen to a lot of those born in poor circumstances - see any number of musicians or actors who become pricks once the money starts rolling in - and as I understand it, Romney was certainly not born in poor circumstances. What's more, in a lot of situations, any idiosyncracies are glossed over because you're wealthy. It's not likely a rich man will be told 'hey, that was a jerky thing to do'.
