The United States of America is electing its next president and vice-president on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.

The candidates listed in the attached poll are the only ones that may possibly win the minimum 270 electoral votes necessary for election to the office of U.S. President. With that in mind, please select the one candidate and his or her running-mate that you think SHOULD win the U.S. Presidency.

Who are Anderson and Barnett? What are their party affiliations?

Are they natural-born citizens of the United States?

Are they thirty-five years of age or older?

Have they resided within the United States for at least fourteen years?

I don't know enough about the Green Party to vote. Are they the hippie tree-hugger party?

I would vote for the Obama the republicans talk about that much. That radical socialist dude who wants to exterminate religion and raise taxes for all rich people and all that stuff. Fake!Obama would be so much better than current Obama.

I had to think on this one but I ended up voting on Obama. Things are better than they were 4 years ago. Obama has made some progress with student debt and has made it possible for me to have insurance. The economy is no longer plummeting. Also there is promises (broken promises are better than actively trying to take away more rights) for gay marriage. Overall, even though congress has stalled a lot, Obama has made some progress and it could've been worse. There's still a lot of things I disagree with Obama, however. Even with those negatives, I still think Obama is lightyears better than Romney, who I disagree with on nearly every issue.

I agree most with Jill Stein, but I have a problem with alternative/pseudo-medicine and several other issues being on the Green's Party platform. In a perfect world, I'd vote for her. Alas, she has no chance of winning and I don't think she would pull a sufficient amount of votes to "send a message", unlike Gary Johnson who is garnering quite the following.

I'm voting for Gary Johnson, if he's on our ballots. If not, then Romney.

Aside from the fact that he's not a U.S. citizen, there is the issue of what he stands for...

Hmm, yes. Godzilla will never change his message. He will do exactly what you expect him to do. I think he could be the president that finally fixes Detroit - by knocking the whole rotten thing down.
