COME ON! WHO would ask such a thing? Hitler did not do ANYTHING autistic. He almost LOVED being around people. He apparently wasn't shy or acting like it. He acted enough like a leader that the NAZIs were OK with having him as their leader. They even openly called him such! "Der Fuerer"="The leader". So he flunks the basic demeaner and socological components. As for stimming? The shaking hand was parkinsons. The action is RARE with autistic people, but THE tell tale sign with parkinsons. He was also STUPID! Hilter was probably the MOST responsible person for the defeat of Germany in WWII!

So WHAT argument can you have for him being autistic?

Hitler was just a stupid, angry, arrogant person that was angry at a particular group, and found a lot of support in the lower class during one of the worst depressions in history.

You're right. He didn't love people, he just loved being around them. He had parties, etc...

I'm just saying that there's a big difference between
enjoying putting on a performance - being the absolute
center of attention, and actually dealing with people
in a normal manner.

But hitler was a megalomaniac, and not afraid of showing it. If it LOOKED like he liked being around people, he did like it.

My guess would be that he was a sociopath, and quite possibly bipolar (not that bipolar's necessarily bad, but some real jerks are/have been). I haven't made a study of the abominable man, but I don't see anything indicating Asperger's. The others, yes.

I wonder, too, did you have any particular reason for bringing this up? Like characteristics of his you thought were Aspie-like?
