Interesting..though as per the reference above...

The age as allowed with the Catholic Church WAS

just 12 a few centuries back....

Culture does change...

But the consistent component overall does seem to be

sometime after the pubic hairs start sprouting...

So obviously SOME men were attracted to really young girls then..back then...legally2...

In my opinion it is not creepy it is normal and natural.

lol, in the first paragraph it says "the marriage age should not be confused with the age of majority or the age of consent".

I really have no idea how or how not that may contradict the statement i made..or if intended so as such... at all...

The table specifically states that the age of consent (per marriage and not sex as indicated in that first paragraph) is no lower than 16 for females or 18 for males in Japan..with a legal age of 20 with male consent...

That is obviously much higher than age 12...

But again..i really do not understand your point..as the first paragraph was just a clarification on the rhetoric of age of consent specific to marriage rather than sex..or the majority age per the age an individual is considered to be an adult...as is 18 in the US now...generally speaking....

Well seriously in this context they do not..that is the reason for the clarification in the first paragraph as linked as such...in the link provided.

Consent means consent for marriage not for sex...specific to the context of that reference...

And yes..while this thread does specifically relate to attraction in general..

The specific post i was responding to was only addressing marriage..specific to the link i provided...

Yes..i checked that out at the same time..out of curiosity specific to the general topic..

But again..the other poster clearly indicated it was associated with marriage..as they listed the age of 18..in the US..which is the legal age of marriage..not the age of sexual consent..which is anywhere from 14 to 16 depending on the state..

To interject another poi t, consider the case of a successful 30 or 40 something man. He was probably passed over in his youth, and so he may exhibit what seems to be crazy behavior. But the issue is that he never got attention when he wa syounger, thus he must sow his oats in the present. A philosophy major pointed this out to me.

I started a poll over in the Love and Dating section. I'm curious to see how that one turns out. Feel free to take a break from PPR to pop over there to vote.

I still vote yes but in extreme cases though like a 60 year difference or the person is under age. Thats common sense though and this is from the opinions of someone who prefers older women youngest I would go for younger than me would be 24.
