Again, it's not a tax. It's a reduction in subsidy. I still think it's an absolute disgrace and telling of an overarching, tax-obsessed state.

Having said that, any suicide like this is dreadful. My thoughts are with her family.

There's a difference between actively placing a charge on someone and reducing the amount of money they have by other means. It still means less money, but the way it happens is different.

Another way to look at this is to not see it as going backwards. and even so, going backwards isn't necessarily a bad thing. Its life, It happens.
Just learn how to deal with whatever is thrown your way and you will be ok. I relies this is easier said than done, but It has worked well for me

As usual, those responsible for the crash are being rewarded for it. Creating a large pool of more desperate people makes them easy pickings. Cameron's class war should cause a Brighton-type response but one that is successful. Unfortunately there's no IRA to defend his victims.

The IRA - like the UVF/UDA - defended nothing and nobody. Ordinary people suffered because of the terrorists.

The IRA murdered and brutalised many, many people inside their own community and outside it - think any number of atrocities - and considered it all 'a laugh'. I wouldn't want vicious, opportunist killers like the IRA as friends.

The price for speaking out against the IRA in the Catholic community could be very high.
