Now, that would be a hilarious sight indeed - Trump dropping his pants and taking a sh*t, then proudly strutting about in front of the TV cameras!

in my reckoning, he figuratively has done that already!

Actually, it seems there is method in Bernie's madness in the way he handled the Black Lives Matter demonstrators. After letting them say their peace, he has since incorporated them into his campaign, even going to the extent of making one of their movement's speakers a payed staffer of his campaign. I see this as a great move to getting black support.

Hmmmmm..... :chin: how Machiavellian of him, I wouldn't have expected such from him. people are full of surprises.

While I still have no doubt Bernie is the most honest person reaching for the White House right now, it's obvious that he couldn't have lasted nearly as long in politics as he had without having a few tricks up his sleeve.

From what I hear he might be the only one viable to be voted for....I didn't even vote in the last two.

I see Bernie as an extremely honest man who genuinely cares for those without. That qualifies him for the White House, in my book.

First-of-all, lemme just say that I haven't read any posts, on this thread, since my last post, on here----so, I'm not countering, ANYONE; I'm just adding an ADDITIONAL two cents.....

I just watched "Meet the Press", with Chuck Todd's interview with Donald Trump----here's some highlights.....

-- The Reagan Administration was the last time, America was great.

-- Get rid of ALL illegals.
(Chuck Todd: "What about the kids?" Trump: "We're gonna help them.")

-- Is not willing to close the door, on running as an Independent.

-- Okay with DC statehood.

Video: Chuck Todd Interviews Donald Trump (I didn't embed it, cuz I've heard that they don't always work, when ya do that.)

I must say----though, I never would've thought, in a MILLION and five years, that I would----I'm liking Donald Trump (don't tell anybody LOL)! Now, obviously, I don't agree with ALL that he says----but, I don't think I ever HAVE, with ANY nominee.....

Leadership is not doing what wins popularity, it is doing what solves problems.

Trump is picking up support broadly.

The Rump has shown no signs of being able to even come close to solving one problem, much less the many we have. it is not inconceivable that he will cause more problems yet.

Especially since Trump either says he'll solve problems like healthcare with "something terrific," without giving details of what that might be. Or he'll give ludicrously simplistic answers, such as bombing ISIS' oil fields, then sending in American oil companies to seize their wealth, when military men all agree that this solution is ludicrous. Or he'll say things which are popular with his target voters, whether it's about the legitimacy of the President's birth certificate, or spouting rhetoric about deporting all illegals, which is just playing up to people's basest prejudices. I think it's obvious, he has no real plans to fix anything, and will only leave disaster and bigotry in his wake. The Presidency would just be a big ego trip for him.

The Presidential race is all about " Let the best liar win". Donald Trump is not a very good liar. He is brutally honest most of the time and he is very politically incorrect. Unfortunately! most of the population in the U.S thinks just like Donald Trump. Just based off the people I work with I think people would vote for him even if he were to run as an Independent. So! with that being said he can win even if the Republicans don't nominate him. I live in Iowa and currently Donald is the most popular candidate. Just a few days he was taking Iowa kids in helicopter rides. I personally think he is to hot headed and would lead the U.S into world war three. He would also take our social security and invest it in China's foreign aid fund.
