Hi everyone.

I'm fairly certain that Hillary Clinton is going to win the upcoming American election. That worries me.
http://graphics.wsj.com/elections/2016/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-on-foreign-policy/

It seems that Hillary is another "liberal" neocon. Additionally, she wants to "stand up" to Putin. What does that mean?
Well ... we know what "enhanced interrogation" is. We know what "collateral damage" is. The US military has a tendency to use cute euphemisms. Furthermore, this sort of foreign policy will only destabilize the Middle East, creating more of the Muslim refugees that Trump hates.

I don't think that the American soldiers should be blamed for all this military bullcrap. The corporatist media lied to them. The oil companies constantly bribe media companies into creating pro-war propaganda.

Furthermore, Hillary is yet another corporate capitalist. Under her, the Koch Brothers will continue to be the biggest "welfare queens" of the system.

Our capitalist system is insane. Some people have said "We tax the middle class to bail out the upper class." ... but is this really accurate? Who is the middle class anyway? Some people own more than 10 billion dollars. I think that the true "middle class" consists of people with around 5 billion. That places all of us in the lower class.

We aren't against the 1%. We are against the 0.01%. Even the millionaires are oppressed by the billionaires.

Capitalism is a crime against humanity. It is a terrible system that promotes greed and materialism. Most of the "typical human cruelty" that misanthropes talk about is actually promoted by capitalism. Capitalism also leads to violence. In a capitalist system, mentally ill poor people often cannot afford a psychotherapist. Additionally, the "every man for himself" mentality leads to bullying.

The socialists lost a mainstream candidate when Bernie dropped out. The evangelicals also lost their guy when they lost Cruz. Indeed, Donald Trump is a very divisive character. Thanks to him, several neocons are voting for Hillary. Several libertarians are voting for Johnson ... and several evangelical Christians have decided not to vote.

Is this a crisis? It seems more like an opportunity.

Here is my message to the evangelical Christians on WP: Please vote for Jill Stein. If you want to keep Christianity alive, focus on Christian economics and Christian foreign policy rather than traditional Christian morality. Jesus was basically a pacifist socialist. If you know about Ancient Roman culture and politics, you can see a second meaning in the New Testament. The entire thing is a tirade against Ancient Rome and Roman imperialism.

Most poor people in America are Christian. Perhaps a rebirth of Christian socialism is what will save America. It is certainly a good time.

FWIW Evangelicals overwhelmingly supported Trump from the beginning despite Cruz's desperate pandering, Cruz got the 'conservative movement' Teaocon votes more than anything else. I probably would of voted for Jill Stein had Trump not won the nomination as the Libertarian ticket is just your typical Northeastern Republicans + weed, Stein would represent that greatest force for change in that scenario. I've liked what she has said about foreign policy and she seems the most against the status quo, if you can't stomach Trump then I would recommend Stein next.

I don't think value voters really need a saint to be our president, they need somebody willing to fight for them and actually get things done rather than be mired in arguments over principles and purity. One must be pragmatic in their beliefs and support if they are ever to see them enacted, one has to look at things from an accurate historical perspective to understand an opportunity when it comes knocking as opposed to waiting for the Messiah. The course we are on is a suicidal one, it is one for the parasitic 1% but to be more accurate probably the .1%!

For a President to make any difference he/she needs congressional muscle. Presidents cannot rule by decree even if Trump thinks so.

No ideology in the history of the world has brought more people out of poverty, increased lifespans and standards of living, and enlarged the scope of human freedom than free-market capitalism under the rule of law.

I'm an atheist, but if I were a Christian, I would recognize "Christian socialism" as a clear manifestation of the work of Satan in the world.

Why does Scandinavia have such a high standard of living then?
