Psychedelic Mike Gravel
It's been a little while since throwing the rock into the lake, so Mike Gravel has come storming back with the an psychedelic experience saying, "power to the people, give peace a chance."

a failed Democratic Presidential Candidate. He has an interesting concept, but didn't make enough money through contributions to debate in the later debates.

Blech. I hate Gravel. What kind of nutcase thinks that 16.7% support is sufficient to overthrow the Constitution and plunge America into the anarchy and tyranny of pure democracy? Democracy is a lousy idea for so many reasons, and what Gravel proposes in the National Initiative for Democracy is open tyranny and, if successful, will lead only to two separate, rival governments and at best a re-enactment of "bleeding Kansas" on a much wider scale. I'll admit that what we're doing now in the running of our government is not working too well, but the solution is reform, not destruction.

So are you saying that America wants a case of Gravel-rash? With a name like Gravel, you think he was a dirty old man who would get a bit abrasive after awhile.
