Why I'd like Al Gore to be the next US President

In a nutshell: because of the opportunity to do something serious about climate change before it is too late.

Al Gore obiously takes the issue seriously. His taking the lead on climate change would, I believe, be the most effective thing that could happen to stop the impending catastrophe from happening.
Because of America's superpower status, others around the world would follow his lead.

'man-made' global warming is the biggest crock of bullcrap that the counter-culture has ever tried to get over on the voting consumer.

I'd rather have him put into a mental institution, than have him be the president of America.
The global warming industry is a huge one giving many people well paid useless jobs.
It also enables goverments to invent new kinds of taxes supposedly have effect on the climate.
Like here in the Netherlands, where the goverment are starting to tax flights for damage to the envirement.
The ironic thing about the envirement taxes is that theyr actually not used to "help" the envirement.

The goverment propaganda machine is constantly boasting about combatting climate change.
Pretending that humans changing the temperature is a proven fact.
But any sane person knows that temperatures have been fluctuating since the beginning of time.

As long as those scumbags can control the minds of the airhead masses, they can do whatever they want.

Actually, if we're going to blame something for global warming we should probably start litigating against the sun.

God damned balls of gasses *sigh*

Al Gore would be a perfect diplomat in that case. Can we send him there now?

I heard Al Gore is likely to actually be an Aspie. I wouldn't doubt it either.

Barack Obama already promised Al Gore a Cabinate position.

he's an idiot. he pushes that climate change is the result of carbon emissions while completely leaving out key portions of data regarding solar activity and the shifting magnetic poles (which are most likely causing the heating problem).

al gore is a propagandist for the climate change people and little more.

climate change controls are what he wants implemented, not to actually affect climate change (because his version of it doesn't exist).

his crap movie has done more to mislead people and encourage ignorance and almost religious fervor with the issue despite the fact that most people don't even know what's really going on.

Didn't the eruption of Mt. St. Helens on May 18, 1980 spew more carbon dioxide and other pollutants into the air in one day than humans have in the history of the species?

I've heard that before, and it seems probable.

But how exactly do volcanic explosions release CO2. Seems to me that rock doesn't need Oxygen to melt. How is CO2 forming in such large quantities?

It sure is. Did humans also create the ice-age?
