For those of you that don't live in the great state of Illinois and are not familiar with it political culture may not be aware that we have one of the most corrupt state governments in the country. Both parties are equally corrupt at the higher levels of state government and for this reason I choose not to vote for governor last year becuase both candidates were equally horrible. Guess who is right in the thick of our wonderful state government... Obama... the fact he serves in this state should set off red flags to begin with and just last night one of the capaign advisors for both the Governor (I can't even begin to spell his name) and Obama was arrested on charges of fraud, money luandering, and a few other things.

This information may not be new to you and it probably won't affect your decision but I just thought I would say something, because the rest of the country should know what kind of State government Senator Obama comes from and that Chicago elected him (not that it was much of a race I think the other candidate was from a different state) not the state voters as a whole. The majority of Illinois is conservative but the shear bio-mass and corruption in Chicago drowns out the voice of the other voters.

Yes, and beware of American tourists. Not only are they oblivious to geography and international affairs, they also tend to be rather smug, and are often outright rude!! I don't know if you know about America's culture, but it is based on hubris and deficit spending. By all means, stay away from those Americans!! Last year, one nice Dutch couple gave a ride to an American who was walking along the road in the rain, and when the Rijks-Poliz found the couples' bodies, they had each been stabbed over a hundred times. After arresting the man, he confessed, and said "I'm just like that." That's simply how Americans are - just like that!!

Perhaps the Americans can change the system so that their President cannot be a citizen of any US state, and the voting is done by people who are not American citizens. Having a fair, neutral party make that tough decision is the best solution for all involved.

Yeah, Glenn Beck was talking about that tonight. Obama supporters as well are being told, when they go out for PR door to door, not to talk about policy but rather recite the wonderful little story of how they came to Obama (South Park Blaintology ringing any bells?).

The only trouble is he doesn't have the Clintonesque skill of waving their hand over crowds and saying "What you just think you saw didn't happen" .... which seems to be catching up to him. When you look at this guy who just went down for all the laundering (apparently he didn't know *that particular* side of the guy, just like he didn't know *that particular* side of his church) the guy's either the worlds worst judge of character or just that much of a bold faced liar - both are of course equally disturbing.

My best estimate is you have nothing to worry about. Hillary's people will be coming out for McCain in great numbers - he didn't burn the feminist, is too far left of most democrats, and of course most of Hillary's supporters have high hopes that McCain is too old to run a second term and that by 2012 3 offices of republicans will be such old news that they'll have to almost elect a democrat in fact (after all that's what we've done for the greater part of the last century, alternate every other term R-D-R-D-R-D-R) and that's when Hillary will step in, everything her and her husband did between 1992 and 2000 will be old enough news to be forgiven, and at that time quite likely the general populace will be ready to vote her in. Even if McCain exceeds everyone's expectation and makes the majority of the democratic party proud to be Americans by his actions, by some strange miracle, it still will be doubtful that we'll have a republican after him.

Unfortunately though he can't promote or enforce socialism around the world - no such luck there, even western Europe's sneaking away from it and may be well on their way to nixing it for good. Though I'll admit, we're getting weird enough over here that we might have to take our entire country, run everyone over to the hot stove, and burn the hell out of each person's hand (capitalists of course dragged kicking and screaming) before the slowest learners catch on to what Europe's learning bit by bit.
