I am the most terrible villain alive. During my youth I travelled the world looking for evil aspies. In my stay in Cambodia I had an audience with Pol Pot. When I told him how bad I was he put his head in his hands and cried. "I always used to think I was pretty bad", he said "but you just take it too far".

now who is bad enough to join me

That post made me very, very angry.
I liked this topic at first, but then I read down to the end of your post, and saw how low you'd decided to sink.
You trivialized the atrocities commited by Pol Pot. Pot. If you'd lived in Cambodia when he was in power, if you'd witnessed the suffering and deaths he caused, I sincerely doubt that you would be using his name for comic effect.

I hope this is a joke for if it is not then it should be a very bad joke at the best.

Yow. I think I see two respondents who each need to take a chill pill. That's being way too serious for a casual joke. It is kind of funny, the boy who was so evil that he made Pol Pot cry.

Remnant

Anybody that wants to be even worse that Pol Pot like AgentMiller does well He might as well make himself like Hitler then in My book. Pol Pot killed many 2 to 3 million in Cambodia in the 1970s.

AgentMiller

Come on that is all I will say.

This issue here seems to be the old adage of "tragedy + time = comedy"

Different people have different definitions of how much time it takes.

Some people deny the adage entirely, most people tend to feel that it takes none as long as no one they know has been affected by the tragedy.

Seriously, guys. If you're offended by Pol Pot, Hitler, or even Saddam Hussein jokes, you need to lighten up.

I think it depends somewhat.
If you're descended from Cambodians or Jews (not many Iraqis in America yet) who suffered under one of those regimes, you're likely to be infuriated at a lack of empathy.

I'm voting that it wasn't that bad. The point was exaggeration, not to make light of the tragedies that Pol Pot inflicted. It was also sarcasm against the stereotyping of Aspies.

There are some jokes so bad that I will only express them in mature content.
Some jokes ARE offensive.

The comment was about on par with this one by Don Cherry:
"The only guys that wear masks are either French or Euroupean"
Which is a fallacy and ignorant but not prejudiced.

NOTE I don't agree with what Don said either.

I'm going to withhold opining either way.

I would have to know more about the Don Cherry quote to have any clue how it could be offensive.

membership still open? Cause i'd like a competant leader to give me purpose. I am a creator. I am willing to create regardless of socially established rules. (mutants, cyborbs, technology which has no regard to the sancticy of life)

In a story i have never written there is a character in it, a researcher who slaughters thousands of people, but produces cures for many very serious uncurable illnesses. I will keep living until i figure out the best illnesses to cure versus the number of people to slaughter to make the merit of the doctors work nearly impossible to decide.

Although i do not exist in a world where i will ever find the job of the doctor in my story, i do think i'd enjoy my work if i did.
