Not a disease, not a choice, what is it then?

Is there some ultra-PC term you would use instead?

Is gray hair a disease? Is albinism a disease? Is being a twin or one of a quadruplet a disease? Is a hairy chest a disease? Is having buck teeth a disease? You figure it out.

Well a lot of them in southern USA are actually.

They've got quite a culture down there, don't they?

Yeah :x I heard one guy got tied to a back of a truck and driven around till he died. Cause people found out he was gay. I mean i'm not pro-gay or anything. Maybe a quick shot to the head would have been fairer.

Ever heard of Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church? The Phelpses are sooo deranged. Kinda sad really.

No, got a feeling I don't wanna hear about them either. Its so annoying when so called christians just go around doing evil things, but say its ok, cause its god's work. What a crock of s**t.

Well, they are advocating what the Bible says - it does say to kill homosexuals after all. It's funny how following Christian doctrine makes one only a 'so-called' Christian, whereas those who choose to ignore the bits they don't like are the 'true' Christians.

The Bible also says not to eat shellfish.

I don't believe that the Phelps family really are following Christian doctrine. Seeing as how they manipulate and adapt Bible verses to fit their atrocious "cause."

But I doubt there is any prohibition to eating homosexuals.

But I doubt it, 'cause that technology didn't exist in the 1st century.

.

It's lucky for Christians the Romans didn't kill Christ by infecting him with leprosy.

Ugh I try to stay away from this forum  but I just wanted to add that there's a lot of ignorance on both sides. Very few people actually understand the bible.

The bible doesn't tell Christians to kill anyone or to judge other people or act self-righteous. But people do it anyway becasue people don't understand or don't care to understand the real principles behind the ideas presented in the bible.

Brilliant  I think I might just do that and tell people it's to remember how my (hypothetical) best friend was killed. To see how greusome they think that is.

How do you wear a flake of skin around your neck?

Perhaps it should be a disembodied nose or finger?

I see we're having lots of fun with this one.

Theoretically a disembodied nose could lead to several new bits of dogmatism. A small sign saying "God Nose". Or the triumvirate could be The Father, the Son, and the Wholly Sneeze. No offense intended.

Incidentally it was Lenny Bruce who conceived the electric chair thing.

I sense a Douglas Adams reference coming.
