The correct term is "fornication". Sexual relations between people who are not married.

Well I think that the crazy punishments for sex are a "moral degradation". The idea of stoning people to death for having sex is deeply offensive.

If I were in the mood to troll, I'd rant about Muslimania. Instead, I'll just say that I think laws like this are sad and primitive and that religious fundamentalism is fundamentally opposed to the ideals of a free society.

They bundled rape in with WHAT???! !!

homosexuality - ~10% of the population!

alcohol consumption - If they want to fry their livers that's their choice. State should have no say in it.

gambling - See above. This is a problem for sure, but it isn't one a state needs to concern themselves with.

And finally rape - a heinous crime!

Part of me believes we should respect all other cultures. Screw that if they are so messed up!

The rape laws in places like that aren't like ours. They alot of times end with puinshment of the victim for doing something that "caused" the crime. I'm not sure if this is the case in this country but it might be why it made the list.

Maybe rape should be legal...I mean, um, yeah, thats what I mean, you know? Ok, lets make a deal here....how about making non-violent rape legal, sounds good?

And...we should keep and open mind to these type of things, there are some things the US can learn from arabic countrys. I don´t advocate any type of rape in any way, of course. Even if the victim is passed out due to alcohol, it´s still wrong, ok?

We need to find some common ground here.

More then just that dilbert. Women have been jailed and even killed for being the raped in some places.

Well, then again, in some Muslim countries, 'it's not rape' unless there are witnesses. And they punish the woman for it as well...
