This might be kind of old news but my dad just told me about it(his family lives near the Duluth area), so I am just now looking at some pictures. It's brutal, but yeah I guess I've made up my mind about going out to visit with my sister, brother and dad because I want to see all the damage first hand .

Anyways here's an article if anyones curious, I only skimmed through it so I don't know it was the best article on it but it has cool pictures:

Gotta love the one that is was clearly taken by someone in a raft just having a jolly old time rafting in the flood...it fits the nature of people in Northern Minnesota like my family very well. "hey guys there's a flood, lets go drink some beers and go rafting and check this sh*t out.' though I don't know if the ones who took that picture where drunk.

That's bizarre because it's abnormally dry where I live right now.

Bizarre? that actually makes sense to me if there is a flood somewhere its only natural that it will be too dry somewhere else...at least I read something about it.

That's true, but 400 miles is a short distance to go from flood to drought.
