The Professor was actually my favorite character on Gilligan's Island. He will be missed.

The Professor had some Aspie traits-a disinterest in girls (although many Aspies love the opposite sex), a tendency to be literal and pedantic, good with tech and theory, and he was the only one on the island with even a little bit of common sense.
