I'm over at my grandmother's house in South Carolina, and for the past several minutes, CNN's gone dark. All I'm getting are color bars. I'm starting to get the feeling that it's not weather related...

All the workers at CNN HQ in Atlanta are still trapped on the roads. 2 inches of snowfall and it's zombie apocalypse time.

So true. When I lived in south Arkansas two inches of snow shut everything down.I live in the northern part of the state now,two inches is nothing.I would have no problem driving in that. The schools would let out early but not the government offices or businesses.

It snowed here Tuesday and my husband and daughter were both stuck for hours in traffic. One was in Bham and the other was in Tuscaloosa. We got about an inch and a half, maybe two inches. Things are still closed down today and there is no school here tomorrow. Most of the roads in my county are closed but people are still driving on them. We can drive in F5 tornadoes but we cannot drive in snow.

Plus, if CNN is in Atlanta, you have to remember thats Atlanta. People there can't drive anyway. Even if they could drive it wouldn't matter because nobody can ever really tell which one of the 28,000 Peachtree streets to turn down. It's always just a guess. (Every other street in Atlanta is named Peachtree something - Road, Avenue, Street, Drive, Way, Trace, Crossing, Run, Lane, etc then they add N, S, E, W, NW, SE, SW, NE, and I think they may even make up directions and also words to go along with Peachtree. Those who have been to Atlanta will understand. Those who haven't won't get the joke.)

We periodically lose our cable signal from time to time, even when the weather isn't bad. It might just be a technical glitch.

living in the deep fringe reception area of all the metropolitan tv stations in my market area, the over-the-air signal drops out on many stations on a regular basis. sometimes I don't get KCTS-9-DTV for hours on end. this despite having a deep fringe antenna high atop a tree with a signal amplifier to boot.

There is a movement to deport him,but I don't think Canada wants him back. The sad truth is he will probly OD in the future.
