I remember us renting out and watching that movie "Troll" when i was a kid and thoroughly enjoying it. I would recommend checking it out. The director is the same guy who brought us other delights such as Friday the 13th part VII and "The Ghoulies" 1 and 3 :)

I caught the middle of that flic one saturday afternoon, and wasn't sure what to make of it when I heard the kid's name. Bizarre movie. Totally 80's though.

Neither of the two bands, Pratchett, Rowling, Shakespeare, or Neil Gaiman(who ive also seen use the characters) can make a claim on a name that exists in mythology, IMO.
