Australia to host science fiction convention Aussiecon 4

THE world's longest-running science fiction convention will be held in Australia in 2010.

All the sci-fi peoples will be in Melbourne in 2010.
major score for melbourne. The convention centre (the centre is undergoing a renovation now) will be done by then.

Always liked scifi conventions. Wondering what makes this the longest running scifi convention when it is named Aussiecon 4.

no clue. maybe they are just calling it that for this con since it is over here.
