Acting Legend Paul Newman Dead at 83

Quote:
NEW HAVEN, Connecticut - Paul Newman, the Academy-Award winning superstar who personified cool as an activist, race car driver, popcorn impresario and the anti-hero of such films as "Hud," "Cool Hand Luke" and "The Color of Money," has died, a spokeswoman said Saturday. He was 83.

He was a great actor, I was watching The Sting lastnight, its weird that I don't usually watch the late
movie, but I haven't watched this one in years, I am glad I did. Some of my favorite Paul Newman
movies were Slapshot, Cool Hand Luke, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Bummer, I thought he was nifty. Thanks for sharing the news, though.

The secret to my awesome italian cooking is Paul Newman's Sockaroonie Spaghetti Sauce... that stuff is absolutely perfect for italian cooking...

The salad dressing and salsa are also top-notch...

I also like the idea that all of the profits go to charity... somehow that makes the food taste better...

Paul Newman was a class act... he will be missed...

I have a Newman's Own cookbook, and I am fascinated that one of his favorite dishes is Italian Baked Scrod.

He personified class.

No actor in Hollywood will be able to top his charisma.

I thought he was a great actor, but his salad dressings are also really good. I love that all proceeds from his food products goes to charity, and it's good to know that it'll continue after his death. I think I'll get his cookbook as I had no idea it even existed.
