I listen to a large variety of music, mostly alternative and indie though. A little bit of country too (But not Taylor Swift or anything like that; I listen to people who sound amazing LIVE as well.), like these guys:

It really depends on the song, I rather like Chop Suey by System of a Down but don't like most of the other songs within the genre. I also like classical music, ALL classical music and similar songs and bands with similar music like Secret Garden. I'll only listen to rap if it's another langage and I'm fond of Swiss German rap :)

Anyone ever listened to very early Pink Floyd albums, e.g. Ummagumma, A Saucerful of Secrets, Atom Heart Mother? It's very imaginative music which will probably appeal to people with Asperger's (It did to me when I was a teenager and still does now).

The only kind of music I don't like is (mainstream?) rap/hip hop. It's so simple and repetitive, there's nothing actually to listen to there in my opinion. Some songs may have amusing lyrics, though, but I wouldn't really listen to a comedy show as music either, haha.
That being said and a possible flamewar starting (sorry), I prefer metal the most. It has so many subcategories, that it feels fresher than most other genres.

I could get really into this since I love music but I'll just make it short. I love finding new bands to listen to so I have many but my favorite band is The Hives. I mostly listen to Hardcore punk and Melodic punk. But anything from D-beat (the heaviest I like) to indie punk.

omg I'm almost always listening to that kind of music. Usually rap/ hip hop songs have really cool beats, but that's just my opinion

I listen to a lot of rap, some rock (any kind of rock), and whatever sounds good to me (anything from songs sung in languages like Spanish, Portuguese, and Romanian to some pop). I don't listen to as much radio as I used to.
