At the begining of the simester I really liked to write... 10 homework essay assignments later, I don't..........
Please stop giving me these assignments, I am not getting any better. I think I am getting worse and my printer is running low on ink.
You do realize many of your students have other classes... right?

Hey Sarah,

It looks like my friendship with Adam is starting to decline.

We still will be friends probably for a long time, but there are some issues:

- Adam's been avoiding voice chat ever since he got back from spring break with his parents, and never IMs me (I always have to IM him). He has talked about being sick and having a lot of schoolwork, but he is attending events on his campus and even planning to go to go partying with some people Friday evening. (That came as quite a surprise.)

- I thought he and I shared a couple of special interests , but he does NOT talk about them except over voice chat, which he no longer wants to do! In fact, nor does he talk about anything we once used to talk about.

I sent a few items in the mail to him that pertained to his special interests, but now I don't know if I should have spent the money, to be honest.

Do you have any advice for me?

I find myself sitting here and wondering why your messages stopped coming...and if it is quite simply because you found me too boring to contemplate in the first place. I find myself upset because this always seems to be the case...that when I like/fancy someone, they in turn have little to no interest in me, even as a friend. And then I perceive every absence and silence as a personal rejection and find myself veering even more towards becoming so anti social that no-one will come near me anyways. I wish I had no emotions as then I would not have found myself liking you, especially given that we do not have the same kind of mind/mode of being. Afterall, most people only consider suited to friendship, those who are identical, or near identical, rather than realising that one can learn so much more from someone who has a different way of relating. So, I find myself sitting here and thinking, he wont pm me again as it was never wanted in the first place, and foolish for me to delude myself that I could ever be interesting enough.
